Apply for a scholarship

We believe every nonprofit—regardless of size—deserves access to high-quality fundraising training. Scholarships are available for organizations that need financial assistance to participate in FundraiseBetter.org courses or subscription programs.

What scholarships can cover:

  • Full or partial access to the Foundations Course

  • Monthly or annual subscription fees

  • Specialized workshops or micro-courses

Eligibility:

  • Organizations with budgets under $1M

  • Volunteer-led or small-staff nonprofits

  • Demonstrated financial need

  • Commitment to completing the course or program

How to Apply:

  1. Complete the short application form.

  2. Tell us about your mission and how this training will support your work.

  3. Share a brief financial snapshot (annual budget, staffing, and current fundraising challenges).

  4. Submit any supporting documents if requested.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and decisions are typically made within 6 to 8 weeks.

If cost is standing between you and learning how to fundraise better, we want to help.

Across the U.S., millions of small nonprofits are doing critical work with limited budgets, minimal staff, and little access to professional fundraising training. FundraiseBetter.org was created to close that gap—making practical, people-centered fundraising knowledge accessible to organizations that have historically been priced out of high-quality education.

Your support helps remove one of the greatest barriers these nonprofits face: cost.

Scholarship funding is used directly to cover course fees, reduce or eliminate subscription costs, and provide full or partial access to our training library for a set period of time. This ensures that small teams, volunteer-led organizations, and rural or under-resourced nonprofits can build essential fundraising skills without sacrificing mission-critical dollars.

When you invest in scholarships, you are not just supporting FundraiseBetter.org—you are expanding the collective capacity of the nonprofit sector. You help leaders learn to raise more money, steward donors with confidence, and build financial sustainability that strengthens their communities for years to come.
